Helmut Lang's designers delivered once again eye-candy outfits. Designers Michael and Nicole Colovos took inspiration from crustacean patterns, such as translucent Dungeness crabs and shrimp for the new Helmut Land Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It might sound more like a restaurant menu, but the patterns have mixed perfectly with natural fabric and technique.

“Taking great pieces and elevating them,” was how Michael put it. “We wanted to create that wet look with a wet feel” he explained about the Helmut Lang Spring/Summer 2013. Designers used a lot of "wet" color hues (shark, maritime, sunburn, gulf, froth) and used jacquard to "showcase the details".
