Dog owners have had this debate for ages now. A research now gives the answer to the yawn pup debate: pups don’t catch yawns from humans, they learn it and use it to show empathy with their owners.

Even if you’re not one of the billions with a dog at home, a puppy is insanely cute. Just think back, how many Monday mornings have you started with a funny picture of a cute puppy and then work and school didn’t seem just as terrible. A research has found that pups age seven months or older yawn when their owner does it to show empathy. How cute is that?!
