Talk about having an optimistic outlook on life. Warren Buffett announced the world he has been diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer, but to most people’s amazement, the billionaire is not planning his retirement.

In his letter to the shareholders, Warren Buffett explains: “The good news is that I’ve been told by my doctors that my condition is not remotely life-threatening or even debilitating in any meaningful way”.

But learning that you have prostate cancer isn’t exactly news most men would take on easy. Apparently, that’s not the deal with billionaire Warren Buffett. He added that despite being diagnosed with prostate cancer he’s feeling great: “I feel great – as if I were in my normal excellent health. And my energy level is 100 percent”.

Obviously, when it comes to his staggering wealth and successful company, showing signs of weakness isn’t exactly the best thing to do. But the 81 year old is going to have a hard time hiding the side effects of the radiation treatment he will be undertaking for about two months.
