It looks like bullying is more serious than imagined. Not many celebrity kids have talked about it. In fact Michael Jackson’s daughter’s disclosure during Oprah’s Next Chapter is sure to raise more awareness than most campaign ever managed to.
The forteen-year-old talked to Oprah about her life at school. At the moment, Paris studies at a private school, which she says it helped her have a “better social life” but bullying continues. “Kids at school talk so bad about me behind my back” she confesses. “A lot of people don’t like” adds Paris as she continues talking about her and cyber-bullying.
However, Paris seems to have found a way to cope with her peer’s bullying. “If I feel someone is being fake to me, I will just push away”. She adds “People try, but it doesn’t always work. At school and some people try to cyber bully me. They try to get to me with words, but that doesn’t really work”.
