The Kate Middleton wedding dress truly exemplifies a modern classy royal bridal gown. And since wedding dresses with lace sleeves are always in, if you're searching for inspiration, do take a look at the wedding dress Kate Middleton has.

But when Alexander McQueen's designers are involved, a royal lace sleeves wedding dress can hardly go unnoticed. Sarah Burton, the creative director at Alexander McQueen, is the one that designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress.

Before the wedding ceremony, tabloid media was taking theories about the bridal gown and its designer viral. One source then said that the dress would be the result of both Kate Middleton's and Sarah Burton's ideas.

With UK's symbols in Carrickmacross lace applique bodice design, the Kate Middleton dress was an amazing story of ivory silk tulle and fairytale love stories.

Sarah Burton explains the details in Kate Middleton's bridal gown. "Ivory satin bodice is padded slightly at the hips and narrowed at the wais, and was inspired by the Victorian tradition of corsetry that is a particular Alexander McQueen hallmark" the designer said. "On the back are 58 buttons of gazar and organza, which fasten by means of Rouleau Joops. The underskirt is made of English Cluny lace over tulle" Sarah Burton added.
